Shy Little Guy

I wanted to share a session that I had with this sweet little guy about three weeks ago. He came to get pictures to help celebrate his upcoming second birthday! Let me tell you this little one was such a sweetheart. He was so shy in the beginning and didn't know quite what to think about being in this strange photographers home studio. I was starting to think I might not get a smile from little "D". But we started with this cute shot.

Then we got into a little talk about his adorable little toes and feet.

He was definitely proud and wanted to show me those piggies!

I am really loving these apples lately. Plus they matched his shirt!

Then we got into the Chicken Dance!! That was tons of fun. "D" his Mommy, Daddy and I all did the dance and I tried to clap along with an 8 pound camera in hand. Hehe.

THEN...We finally got some sweet little smiles.

But, the best smiles of all came from the ones where he shows just how much he loves his parents. I love the genuine adoration captured. You can really see how much this family loves eachother and knows how to have a great time.

I had such a wonderful time with clients of mine Sunday with their new arrival Jewel. She is such a sweet baby with tons of hair! I did a couple maternity sessions with them before she was here, and I had a great time with Mom & Dad then too. I made this special slide show for them to display to family and friends.

-Hi Tiffany! Hope you and your family are doing well! I wanted to thank you for the wonderful portraits of my family. Also, just wanted you to know I had voted for your lil' ones photo in the contest.

I've been pretty busy trying to get shopping done and finishing the nursery. It has been a little difficult! I've been having trouble getting around :) I'll be walking around just fine then suddenly- the baby is in an uncomfortable spot or I get so tired I can't walk! Well, I wanted to make sure to let you know we are VERY happy with our pictures! I ordered some xmas cards with them and am excited to mail them out tomorrow. Our session was the first time we've ever had a family portrait done and with my husband in his uniform soooo you helped a rare and wonderful event come to fruition! I hope we can do another session with our new lil' here. I'd love to have some pictures of our newborn!

Holiday Portraits

So it is getting so close to Christmas, and I have been super busy lately. WOW! I am so not ready for Christmas yet. But I just want to say Thanks to all of my wonderful clients. They have really helped lift my spirits. It is such a blessing for me. I just love what I do because I am graced with the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful people and families. There's nothing more rewarding than that in my opinion. I have had a blast this past two weekends with my specials running for two weeks now. I want to especially thank Heather & Chris & baby to be for being so flexible and letting me do my thing. You guys are awesome! Hope I'm invited to the birth. :) Also a huge Thank You to the C. Family! For coming back last weekend and for booking ahead of time for Holiday Portraits. I seemed to have had an instant bond with you and your family & little R. It could be that R. reminds me of my son. He is such a sweet baby. I'm so lucky to get to see him grow. And last but not least, to the AE, I really enjoyed our session last weekend. Even though S. has hypotonia, that sure didn't stop him one bit from giving us his all. He has the most beautiful eyes, and will always hold a special place in my heart. You all were such neat people. I am glad I met you, and look forward to our next session with S.
